In this original voice memo hear how "Perfect Needs" developed from our first writing session to fruition. I was interested in how we might project qualities onto people, who do not possess the things we seek "He projects perfect needs in persuit of his dreams" "Is it love am I lost is it lust?" asks about the certainty of those feelings.
It was really fun building this track in the studio. We started with the crunchy electric guitar part which has a lot of energy and added a load of percussion. For the harmonies, all four of us stood in a circle and sang our hearts out down the mics “ba ba ba…”
